Find Me

S. Stone Linton

Investor. Operator. Mentor

If you landed here, odds are we’ve crossed paths—or someone pointed you my way. I don’t take inbound lightly. If you’re showing up, it probably means something.

I Live It. I love It.

I’ve built and sold businesses the hard way—boots on the ground, seven-day weeks. I’ve cleaned up after techs, fixed contracts at midnight, delivered personal checks on a Friday when payroll went sideways, and taken screaming customer calls Christmas morning. Read about it here: I Live It.

If you’re in the trenches, I get it. And I’m not here to sell you a course or call myself a guru.

This is where I stay in the game—mentoring real operators and backing serious entrepreneurs.

Mentorship

I work directly with founders, searchers, tradespeople, and operators who are actually building something. No fluff. No filters.

  • Volunteer mentor with SCORE Orlando
(But come in through SCORE—I can’t invest, sit on your board, or accept a job offer.)
  • Independent mentoring via LinkedIn or in-person
    (That’ll cost you a cup of coffee—or a beer if it’s after 10 a.m.)

If you’re figuring out payroll, hiring your first crew, or acquiring your second location—I’m here for the kind of conversations that don’t make it into TED Talks or MBA case studies.

No forms. No fees. No “coaching packages.”
Just straight talk when it counts.

Investment

I selectively invest in small businesses with strong operations, real fundamentals, and operators who want a strategic partner—not just a check.

Where I Put Capital to Work

Deals get done at Twin Palm Holdings. If you’re raising for a real business, start here.

What I look for:

  • Cash Flow Discipline – Predictable earnings. Clean books.
  • Structured Returns – Preferred equity. Quarterly distributions. Not just hoping for a payday someday.
  • Alignment – Shared priorities. Skin in the game. Real transparency.
  • Strategic Fit – I help where it counts. I stay out of the way when it doesn’t.

If you’re raising capital, send:

  • A short investor memo or deck
  • Capital structure and use of funds
  • Current and projected financials
  • Founder equity + comp plans
  • Deal terms or open questions

If that sounds like a lot—good.
We start aligned or we don’t start at all.

Let me be clear:
I invest in cash-flowing businesses.
Not startups with “potential.”
Not low-interest loans or maybe-someday returns.
Not grants. Not favors. Not charity.

I’m not your daddy.
I’m a partner—if the deal works.
